Quick Quotes: Naughty Dog doesn’t “know at this moment” what it wants to do next
“We never set out to make a three-part [Uncharted] series from the beginning. We have always sort of seen it as a stand-alone adventure, like you are gonna pick up any one of the games and play and out of order. It still makes sense. You can still understand the characters and the plot. Obviously, if you play the other ones, you get more out of it. I have always seen it as a single-part adventure story. We have always said that if we think that we can make something new and interesting, if the fans still want them, then we can make another one. But at this time, everyone is sort of on vacation. We’re trying to recover from the process of making it and I think we will come back together and maybe this month and next month make a decision about what we are going to do next. But we never said how many of these things there will be. There are plenty more stories in the universe. It is just a question of what’s the company interested in doing next. We really don’t know at this moment.” – Uncharted 3 game director Justin Richmond to VentureBeat.

Mass Effect 3 to contain cut Citadel content planned for the sequel
Bioware’s Mac Walters, and lead writer for Mass Effect 3, has said to expect the Citadel to have a larger presence in the game than in Mass Effect 2. Speaking with OXM in the latest issue (via CVG), Walters said a plot thread featuring the Citadel which was cut from ME2 will be included in the third installment. “There was a Mass Effect 2 plot that was a kind of callback to the first Mass Effect that was going to be on the Citadel, and we cut it. But now it’s made a resurrection in Mass Effect 3, so I’m happy, but I can’t say what it is,” he said. “That’s the nice thing about trilogies, sometimes you get a second chance.”
The latest issue of OXM hits newsstands tomorrow. Mass Effect 3 is out in early March.

Quick quotes: FIFA Street rebooted due to people losing “interest” in past efforts
“This is a reboot of the FIFA Street franchise, so what you know of FIFA Street 1, 2 and 3, you can forget about it. What we really wanted to do is come out with the first truly great street football experience. There hasn’t been one yet. FIFA Street 1, 2 and 3 barely tried, they came out kinda good and then a little bit into the experience, people kinda lost interest. So we wanted really to create a game that had that depth that was missing in the games of the past. This is the first game that’s going to be built by members of the FIFA team on the FIFA engine… There’s no need to go overtly arcade in street football because when you see some of the cool stuff people can do, they already seems arcadey enough, I don’t need to jump over someone’s shoulders when I can already do some cool stuff with the ball as it is.” – FIFA Street line producer Sid Misra, speaking to GameSpot.
FIFA Street launches next March for PS3 and 360. Get the most recent trailer for it here.
