Market survey suggests WoW could lose up to 1.6M players to SWTOR
Analyst firm Lazard Capital Markets has concluded World of Warcraft could lose between 900,000 and 1.6 million players when Star Wars: The Old Republic launches next month.

Eidos: Lara Croft’s new look is more about practicality than sex appeal
Brian Horton, art director at Crystal Dynamics, has taken to the firm’s official forums to explain the design choice for Lara Croft in Edios’s upcoming reboot, after members expressed concern over Lara’s iconic blue tank top and shorts being scratched for neutral colored cargo pants and a layered tank.

PSA: Arkham City hits PC in the US, Robin Bundle Pack hits all formats
Just a quick reminder to let you know that Batman: Arkham City is now available on PC, Steam, OnLive, Origin, and GameStop’s Impulse in the US. The Robin Bundle packs is also available today on the aforementioned platforms, along with PSN and XBL for $6.99/560 Microsoft Points. In the Robin Bundle Pack, the Boy Wonder comes with his own unique gadgets and special moves, and is playable in all challenge maps, as well as two additional challenge maps included with the pack: Black Mask Hideout and Freight Train Escape. The pack also contains two alternative Robin character skins.
In case you haven’t seen the 30-second Robin video before, we went ahead and posted it for you again below. The game will land on PC in the UK Friday, and the Robin Bundle will be made available in the region tomorrow.

City of Heroes to introduce new loyalty program
Paragon’s announced the 2012 Salute to Statesman Loyalty Program for City of Heroes. The scheme will enable players of the MMO to gain exclusive costume parts, emotes and more by remaining a loyal sub. Those who would like to gain their extras will need to make sure their subscription doesn’t run out between December 1 and March 31.

Activision corrects simultaneous MW3 launch player count to 1.4 million
Activision’s put out a notice correcting its initial figure of 3.3 million simultaneous users on multiplayer for launch day of Modern Warfare 3. The number now, according to the publisher, 1.4 million users. Acti reported last week 3.3 million users logged onto Xbox Live day one to play the shooter.

Dance Central 2 DLC to go big on Lady Gaga
Microsoft’s announced that today’s Dance Central 2 DLC will be on all things Gaga: Marry The Night and Edge of Glory will both be available for 240 MS Points on Xbox Live Marketplace later this afternoon. These will be the third and fourth Gaga tracks added to the Harmonix dancer, which comes with Born This Way and Bad Romance on the disc.

Amazon US offering Harry Potter PS3 hardware bundle
Amazon US is currently offering a 160Gb PlayStation 3 bundle that includes Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, Part 2 for $249.99. The pack, along with the hardware and movie on Blu-ray, will come with a DualShock 3 and a free 30-day membership to PlayStation Plus. Also being offered as optional add-ons are a media remote, a PS3 new owners kit and a copy of Resistance 3. The offer comes ahead of Black Friday in the US this week.

Gravity Daze down for February 9 in Japan
Sony’s confirmed it’ll release Gravity Daze for Vita on February 9 in Japan. The retail version, which wil come with booklet featuring a comic, illustrations and bonus extras, will cost ¥5,980. The download version from PSN will be ¥4,900. The game, which is being made by Silent Hill creator Keiichirō Toyama and is looking absolutely lovely by its latest batch of shots, will require a memory card.

Final Fantasy XIII-2′s story to be 30-40 hours
Final Fantasy XIII-2′s story will take around 30-40 hours to finish, the development team has told this week’s Famitsu (via Siliconera). After you complete the game, you’ll be able to reload your save to take you back to a point before the game’s final boss. If you have a save file for FFXIII, you’ll get a special wallpaper.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases in Japan on December 15, and in the west on the week of January 30 for PS3 and 360.

Skyrim PC patch stems executable tinkering, LAA use
