Japanese charts: Skyward Sword debuts in top spot, Wii sales double

Media Create has released its weekly sales chart, and unsurprisingly, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword topped the software chart with 194,978 units moved. The game's debut also contributed to the doubling of Wii sales, but it still wasn't enough to pull the console out of the number four spot.

The software chart for the week ending November 27 was filled with an abundance of debuts, with eight of nine landing in the top 10.

Second place on the chart was given to Sega's 7th Dragon 2020, which moved 122,498 units on PSP, which was almost double that of Namco's Saint Seiya Senki for the same system.

The Metal Gear Solid HD Edition was another high-profile debut for the week, and it landed in fifth place on the chart with 61,192 units moved on PS3.
