Resident Evil 6 turns up on voice actor’s resume

The inevitable next Resident Evil looms surprisingly large thanks to a less-than-watertight credits list.

Siliconera noted – and screengrabbed – a mention of the unannounced Resident Evil 6 on a regular Capcom voice actor’s CV.

The actor reportedly removed the reference shortly after it was discovered. This is at least the second incident of a CV mentioning the game this year.

Resident Evil hasn’t been formally announced but Capcom has acknowledged its eventual production. In early 2009, the publisher said the game could take up to eight years to complete, but in late 2010 said a reveal was imminent.

Nothing came of that, but earlier this year developers did comment that the next core entry would be “completely different” to Resident Evil 5, adding later that the series would go back to its roots.

Are they really bragging with the fact that it could take up to 8 years to make!? Really!?

^Exactly. But you know what I’m thinkin… Cause they probably have multiple Resident Evil spinoffs they’re planning to milk the franchise (cough*>assasinscreed<*cough), and buy there time with RE6 to make sure they don't fuck it up.

And they better be following up on the previous 2009 E3 Resident Evil PSP announcement, now on Vita obviously.

Oh, and it better not be RE6 for PS3 and/or Vita, I want a seperate Vita experience. So prety please. With sugar on top.

You know if it takes them 8 years to implement walking and shooting at the same time…sure, why the hell not! Take your damn time!
Capcom have become big milkingwhores over the last few years. Multiple expansions for SF4, now MvC3 and DR2…basicly the same games with minor minor changes for $40. And don’t get me started on the RE 3DS games…yeessh…
