Adventure World becomes official Indiana Jones prequel
A new deal between LucasArts and Zynga brings a canonical Indiana Jones story to Facebook.
Kotaku reports Zynga is renaming one of its most popular games as Indiana Jones Adventure World, and insetting the famous archaelogist as a frequently-seen NPC.
The game isn't just a throwaway promotion; the storyline of the game is an official prequel to the franchise. Indiana Jones and the Calendar of the Sun, the first chapter, is expected on Tuesday, and takes places shortly before the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The new content is significant enough to be described as an "almost relaunch".
