Starcraft II now $30 from Blizzard Store

Grab yourself a copy of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty from Blizzard’s online store, and you’ll pay just $30 for it, down from $60. The price reduction seemingly applies to the boxed offering as well as the digital version.

The long awaited strategy sequel was the best-selling PC game of 2011 at the end of September. The first expansion pack, Heart of the Swarm, has not been dated but is expected in 2012.

It always has been a lot of money. Great its dropped in price but lets face it – Blizzard were taking the piss at charging £45 for a digital download!

£45 is too much for any PC game, but that goes double when it’s from the Publishers own online portal.
