Closed beta testing for CS:GO starts November 30
Valve has tweeted that the beta for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will “be active for all current key holders” starting November 30. A follow-up tweet stated it was important for the team to allow current Counter-Strike players into the beta, but there isn’t an “eta on when” just yet. The game is slated for release next year. Thanks, VoodooExtreme.

By the sound of it you dont apply, they must have sent keys out at some point, or something.

This game is an insult to Valve’s reputation, CS and Valve’s very patient CS fanbase and only proves that if you give a starving man a stale cracker, he’ll gobble it up and then offer you a hand job for seconds.

How is it an insult to Valve’s reputation?
