Private beta for Starhawk starts next week

On Tuesday, November 22, the Starhawk private Beta will be going live on PSN.

As previously announced, a number of “loyal Warhawk players” will be a emailed beta code so you may wish to keep and eye on your inbox. The beta will be rolled out slowly, so if you don’t get an invite right away, don’t be discouraged.

Codes will also be handed out via the PS Blogs and the PS Blog Twitter accounts, so keep an trained eye on those as well.

Those who get into the private beta will be able to try out the game’s Capture the Flag mode on two different maps, the matchmaker system, and create your own game server via the Starhawk game lists.

A public beta is expected in early 2012, and those in PAL territories who purchased Uncharted 3 should receive an email with a beta key sometime after the first of the year as well.

What the hell is Sony doing? First they send Resistance 3 to die without any real support, literally kills Ratchet & Clank series with absolute lack of marketing and now this game. Seriously, at this point even some indie PSN titles are getting more exposure and support than this first party retail game. Wake the hell up Sony. Learn a thing or two from Nintendo and MS regarding their own exclusives.
