Next SWTOR beta testing weekend is November 25-28
The next beta testing weekend for Star Wars: The Old Republic will take place next weekend, November 25-28, according to the MMO’s official Twitter account.

Those who recently received a beta invite in the mail will be notified when the client will available for download as the beta weekend gets closer.
This will be one of the largest tests yet, and anyone who registered before November 11 will automatically be included.
Those who didn’t register and need a key should check with the various gaming sites divvying them out – there are hundreds of keys floating around in cyberspace.
For more information on the beta weekend, stick close to SWTOR’s Twitter feed, or have a look at the FAQ on the official site.

Time to feed on the fear and desperation of you opponents, harness the hate, and amplify your power with the Dark Side of the force, as you leap into combat with your crimson blade, slicing through your opponents as an unstoppable killing machine of the Empire. And as you feel the force growing stronger inside you, the Dark Side will emerge as a flickering, yet immensly strong, purple storm of destructive lightning from your very fingertips!
TL;DR
Yay

Thanks. Currently reading the book Star Wars: The Old Republic – Revan, which is what inspired me to write such a comment

The client itself is rumored to weigh in at 27GB. If that’s true, be prepared to download for a few days on an average connection.

Given the internet speeds in the UK, the average user not on cable will probably end up with under an hours play!
And, if their download servers behave like Origin did for the BF3 beta, then there will be lots of very disappointed folk out there. It would be good if they did a pre-stress test download with the final files going live when the servers go live. It makes sense but after all, this is EA we are talking about…..

Don’t expect to get much play at all with the amount of keys out there and with the load they invited to the beta directly. THe servers will be on fire. THey are mimicking on what will happen on launch so they can be prepared for it.
