Long lost PS Move title Sorcery goes hands-on in December
Sony has confirmed once more that Sorcery continues to be a real thing, and moreover, it may be close to finished at last.

“Yes, Sorcery is still in development,” Sony’s Eric Levine told IGN.
“We’re very excited to show everyone how this PlayStation Move exclusive game is coming along.”
This last bit differentiates Sony’s comment from earlier messaging, as Sorcery will be on show at Sony’s Holiday Showcase in New York, where press will have the chance to go hands on for the first time.
Developed by The Workshop, Sorcery was first shown at E3 and Gamescom in 2010, and was generally hailed as one of the most interesting-looking Move titles of the initial showcase. As an apprentice sorcerer, the player explores a Faerie realm based on Irish mythology, using upgradable spells, items and potions along the way.
Thanks, Shopto.

WOO! Looking forward to this! Would love to change it from a Linear game to an RPG though! That would be great! (Maybe that’s why it’s been int he dark for so long?) Who knows!

This is the only Move game that I didn’t think looked horrible back when Move was revealed. Many things about it feel generic but it uses the Move to do some really interesting things and it’s not yet another on-rails shooter or party / sports game collection.

If this had released this year, I’d have probs bought a PS3 to play it. No point getting one in 2012 if there’s new consoles in 2013.
