Gareth Edmondson exits Driver studio Ubisoft Reflections

Gareth Edmondson, studio manager for Ubisoft Reflections which focuses on the development of racing games such as the Driver series, has left the company after ten years.

Edmondson will continue to work in the industry "in an undisclosed capacity", according to a statement given to Develop.

"In the five years since Reflections has become a part of the Ubisoft team of studios, we have had the pleasure of working and creating together with Gareth Edmondson as head," said Ubisoft in a statement.

"Gareth has made the choice to leave the studio at this time. Our team of talented developers at Reflections will continue their work on upcoming projects under the supervision of Giselle Stewart, Studio Manager, and Darren Yeomans, Production Director, until a permanent replacement has been named."

Formerly known as Reflections Interactive, the firm was founded by Edmondson's brother Martin during 1984 in Newcastle.
