A report on Kotaku states that, the official site for Insomniac’s Resistance series, has been taken offline due to visitors being handed a fresh pile of malware scripts when visiting. According to the report, a forum user alerted the developer, and the entire site was taken offline for maintenance. Neither Insomniac nor Sony have confirmed the report as of press time. Stay tuned for updates.

It never ends, does it?

I’m kind of confused how this sort of thing can even happen… But maybe I’m just an ignorant fool.

@1 Some hackers can actually hack into some websites, if the security is bad, and implant malware into the website, so that anyone visiting the website would get an attempted malware attack as well.

Complicated if you think about it, especially considering the fact that this happens to very few websites (or at least as far as we know it doesn’t happen), and ironically Sony’s website was possible that it did get hacked.
