Walmart tries to reel you in by posting Black Friday deals early
Walmart wants you to buy games from it so badly, that it has decided to post its Black Friday deals early, hoping you’ll brave being trampled to death in order to save a buck or twenty. Its tactic might just work, because it has some nice deals on offer for both games and console bundles.
Bundles on the docket will net you the following for $199.96: An Xbox 360 4GB with Gears of War 3, three months of Live, and a $50 gift card; an Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect, Kinect Adventures, and a $50 gift card; or a 160GB PS3 with Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, LittleBigPlanet 2, and three months of Plus. There’s also the Walmart-exclusive blue Wii for $99.96.
Also, from 10pm Thanksgiving night and until Friday evening, Batman: Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, Infamous 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops will be on sale for $28.
Dance Central 2, Kinect Sports Season Two, Epic Mickey and quite a few others will run you $15, and Yakuza 4 will only run you $10 (thanks, Joystiq).
If you don’t want to wait until Black Friday to get BF3 for cheap, and are in the market for, oh say Saints Row: The Third, MW3 or Skyrim, Kmart may be the way to go, according to CheapAssGamer.
Next week, starting November 13 and running through November 19, if you buy one of the following games for $59.99, you get the other on PS3 or Xbox 360 for $29.99 or half-off:
- Assassin’s Creed Revelations
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- Halo: Anniversary
- Need for Speed: The Run
- Rayman: Origins
- Saints Row: The Third
Since Halo: Anniversary is only $39.99, this will likely be the one you get half off on, as stores tend to knock the price off the cheapest one in the bunch. Still, you’re getting the latest Halo title for $19.99, and that is nothing to snub your nose at.
