Multiplayer for Ridge Race Vita detailed by Namco Bandai

Namco has lifted the lid of what multiplayer will consist of in Ridge Racer for VIta.

One feature, called Planetary League, will have the player put into one of four teams within the game. Players will add points to their team's score by taking part in missions that Namco will release daily.

World Race mode will also enable you to take part via three choices.

Ghost Battle, where you provide data with other players in the game via Wi-Fi, 3G and Near. This is the only multiplayer feature in the game that will support 3G.

Ridge Racer Vita releases as a launch title for the new handheld in Japan on December 17. It's also a western release title on February 22.
