Special UK midnight launch events for Skyrim detailed

Bethesda's unveiled plans for special midnight launch events for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to be held at GAME London on Oxford Street and gamestation Birmingham on New Street.

If you're among the first 250 people to join the queue at each store, you'll receive a special Skyrim goody bag, while being among the first 100 people will also net you a Skyrim strategy guide and Skyrim music CD.

That's not all, if you go there dressed up in Skyrim cosplay, you will have a chance to win five special prizes. The best Cosplay winner will receive an Xbox 360, free upgrade to the CE, T-shirts, strategy guide, music CD and goody bag. The first four runners up will also receive a free upgrade to the Skyrim Collector's Edition, and everything else the winner does sans the Xbox 360.

If these weren't incentive enough, folks visiting GAME London will also get a chance to get snapped with a real-life Elder Scrolls.

The RPG everyone is pumped to oblivion for launches on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 worldwide this Friday.
