Rumour - The Last Story to hit Europe in February

Rumours suggest Nintendo of Europe is primed to release Mistwalker's lauded Wii RPG, The Last Story, in early 2012 - with a title change.

Wiitalia passes on a rumour that The Last Story will launch in Europe under the title "The Last World".

The release is expected on February 24, a Friday. The Last Story is the latest game from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, and is one of a trio of Wii RPGs which fans have campaigned strongly to secure Western release for, alongside Xenoblade and Pandora's Tower.

The site also claims Fortune Street, the first Western release for the board game series called Itadaki Street in Japan, will arrive on January 5. The European version will apparently be renamed again, to Boom Street. Fortune Street stars characters from Mario and Dragon Quest and was unveiled at E3 2011 with a 2012 release window for Europe, although the US expects it in December.

DS hit Inazuma Eleven 2 is also rumoured for release at the end of January.
