PSA: Pre-loads available for Modern Warfare 3, Friday Night Fights start November 11

Just a quick heads up to let everyone know that if you pre-ordered Modern Warfare 3 through Direct2Drive or Steam, you can now pre-load the game. With that out of the way, you should also know that Elite's Friday Night Fights will start on November 11 through Elite TV.

The various competitions between celebrities are being handled by Tony and Ridley Scott’s production company, and will be hosted by Stacy Keibler.

The competition is between teams of celebrities, including Michelle Rodriguez, Jack Osbourne, the Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard and the Washington Wizards’ John Wall, along with members of Good Charlotte, the Game and Cali Swag District, and real-world rivalries like police vs. firemen and New York City fans vs. Boston fans. Winners will be donating $5,000 to the Call of Duty Endowment.

The first match will be Army vs Navy, fittingly on Veteran's Day (Nov. 11).

Friday Night Fights will continue weekly through the rest of the year for the initial season, and ach program will premiere on Elite TV on Fridays, with each program running up to 15 minutes in length.

Elite is slated to launch alongside Modern Warfare 3 on November 8 through PS3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version slated for a later date.

Thanks, Blue.
