Chrono Cross, FFV and FFVI to grace US PSN

Square Enix ha announced a Winter of RPG promotion for the US PlayStation Network, bringing three long overdue classics to North American players.

A post on the US PS Blog has Chrono Cross, the 2000 sequel to Chrono Trigger, down for a November 8 release.

Final Fantasy V will follow on November 22, and Final Fantasy VI – considered one of the finest and most influential RPGs of the 16 bit era – hits on December 6. Both releases appear to be the PSOne versions, complete with new cinematics.

Thanks, Joystiq.

Apart from being a precursor to VII and VIII Final Fantasy VI wasn’t influential at all, it’s the fourth one that was.
