Some out of town non-urban locations would be good to mix it up a bit. Looks promising but not much of an evolution since IV

Rockstar still does embarrassingly good tech, but I hope those action sequences weren’t just representative of 3 minutes of the game, to be replaced by an ocean of inane bullshit dialogue and boring chores.

@52 No way dude, I see were you are coming from but that ain’t the dude from GTA3. Likely the main character though, just not the GTA3 guy. Looks a lot older than the usual character which will be a nice change.

Lets hope it’s more like The ballad of Gay Tony and less like GTA4. It would be cool if the dog is a sign that there will be more animals in the game.

Also glad they’ve re-introduced planes, I hope you can steal jumbo-jets again

San Andreas? wow very disappointed

First impressions: that looks fucking sick. So much better technically that GTA IV. I’m such a sucker for these trailers, but that really does look a lot better.

San Andreas is a great setting. But I didn´t like this rapper-style. But the music in the trailer makes me hoping that the new story is not about a mtv-gangstar-rapper xD xD

Well Liberty City, San Andreas and Vice City all featured in GTA 1, so they’ve been using them all along (and presumably we can see Vice City again in VI?).

Well, visuals are impressive. But i’m not pumped at all. Don’t know why.

But i hope it will be closer to GTA IV with San Andreas stuff.

It’s more of a color pallete.

So there are Los Santos signs all over the place on the golf club and other places. The car plates are from Sand Andreas. There are open areas so I believe that you start in Los Santos like in GTA:SA and then travel the other regions.

Sure, Los Angeles isn’t very “nouveau” but still a great place for GTA.
Any eastern-europe capital (like Prague, Budapest or Moscow) would have been better though …

@76 I’m pretty sure they have a lot more to reveal. Making a game set just in Hollywood wouldn’t be very interesting, especially since they’ve done most of the Bay Area in San Andreas before.

Nah I think they would’ve showed other cities if they were there – I’d say it’s just Los Santos and surrounding area.

@92: The GTA series are built on referencing and ridiculing American pop culture. I’d be interesting to see the result, but I doubt that the series would work as well without the USA setting.

Looked sweet. Cant wait for more info on main character (looks like its that hispanic looking dude in the car and running away from the cops ). Planes are back it appears and the buildings look bloody huge as does the mountain those back packers are walking up.

I think it will focus on Los Santos with Vinewood and surrounding small town locations.

If they have remade ALL of San Andreas i’d be amazed.

@97: It would be great to play as Tommy Vercetti again. My favorite GTA protagonist after Niko.
