Drake’s Arrival: Uncharted 3 launches in Europe

Wednesday, 2nd November 2011 08:29 GMT By Johnny Cullen

After nearly a year of anticipation and a US release yesterday, Uncharted 3 launches in Europe and the UK today. You absolutely, definitely shouldn’t miss this. Under any circumstances.

The Naughty Dog actioner has done very well at reviews, despite getting a lower Meta than predecessor Among Thieves, scoring presently 93%.

A full list of reviews can be found here.

The European release comes just 24 hours after its launch in the US yesterday, almost 12 months since it was first shown at the Spike VGAs.

Eurogamer has a full price round-up on where to get the game in the UK, including retail and online outlets.

I finished it yesterday: you’d be mad to not buy this. Go do it.

In the Netherlands the game was already available last tuesday. One shop broke the streetdate, and the others followed!

Motherfucking shit. The game store didn’t get my copy. Bastards. Worst thing is I only have this proof for returned stuff that gave me enough credit to purchase UC3 at that particular store. I can’t spare money to buy it elsewhere. Hopefully, they’ll have it tomorrow. I doubt many people come to them on specific release dates hoping to purchase games.

I got my copy since thursday the 27th of October. And I live in Germany. I already completed the Singleplayer Campaign and had to wait until yesterday to finally play coop. (competitive MP was available since October)

The SP is as awesome as Uncharted 2′s, or if you are that kind of player who likes a bit more of storytelling, it’s even more awesome. And the multiplayer with it’s friendship system, LAN mode, splitscreen mode, Kickback, the Coop-Missions and a lot more of content than Uncharted 2′s MP, is much much better than Uncharted 2′s Multiplayer.

I didn’t think ND could make a game that was better than Uncharted 2, but wow they sure as hell did.
