Firefall gameplay and video interview talks unique elements and Manga art

Red 5 Studios, developer of free-to-play team-based shooter Firefall, has spoken about the modes, character classes and art style of its upcoming title as well as how they intend to balance the oft-prickly issue of micro-transactions.

Speaking to GameSpot AU, Red 5 VP Tony Park also discussed the games PvP and PvE elements as well as re-iterating the December 2011 release window for PC. If you’ve not see the game in action before now, the video also features a decent chunk of gameplay footage.

I think this game looks interesting. I like class based shizzle.

It’s F2P so I see no reason not to at least give the free portion a look when it hits.

Meh. I was once excited about this one. But not any more. No reason not to try it I guess. But it looks pretty generic.
