Valve and Dark Horse team up for Steam-Powered Stories hardcover comic collection

Valve and Dark Horse have announced a hardcover collection of comics based on the worlds of Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress, and Portal. The comic, which contains over two hundred pages of story, is titled: Valve Presents: The Sacrifice and other Steam-Powered Stories, and is to be made available on November 16. Duke Nukem Forever update hitting next week

Gearbox has announced that the Hail to the Icons Parody Pack and its four new multiplayer maps for Duke Nukem Forever will be available starting next week on Tuesday, October 11. Those who joined the First Access Club before Duke Nukem Forever launched will get it free. Those who didn’t get in early, can purchase the pack for 800 MSP or $9.99 on PS3 and Steam. Additional updates to all versions will be released on the same day, which will not only add support for the new content, but will also add various optimizations and bug fixes.

Infinity Blade: Free update includes new enemy, rings, weapons, more

Epic and Chair have released an update for Infinity Blade on iPhone and iPad. The update includes the new RookBane enemy, new magic rings, swords, shields, and helmets. It also gives you a peek at Infinity Blade II and the upcoming novel Infinity Blade: Awakening from author Brandon Sanderson. The free upgrade also compatible with iOS 5 and iPhone 4S, the later of which releases on October 14. Infinity Blade II is out December 1.

The rumors for Dead Space 3 just keep popping up, and a job listing posted today on Creative Heads has Visceral looking for a senior environment artist for the Dead Space franchise. Granted, a job listing for a position working on an “unannounced platform, PS3, Xbox 360″ title doesn’t confirm a third game is in the works, and if true, it wouldn’t be that big of a shock.
