EU PS Store update, October 12 – Castlevania, Dragon Age 2, CoD, Resistance 3
Sony’s updated the EU PS Store, bringing with it the previously-delayed Castlevania: Harmony of Dispair, Sideway: New York, the Gold Edition of Resident Evil 5 and Warhammer 40k: Space Marine for £50. There’s also a DanceStar Party demo to boot, as well as the launch of the Survival Pack for Resistance 3 and Mark of the Assassin for Dragon Age 2. There’s also a Call of Duty sale for most DLC for MW1, MW2, World at War and the full version of Call of Duty Classic.

“We’ve completely restructured our studio around it. Nowadays, we have operations team who looks at the title when it starts getting closer to launch (or long before) with potential downloadable content and so on, to really have a plan. Daytona USA 360 cheevos get out
Despite it being still not officially announced yet, X360A‘s spilled the beans on the achievements for the XBLA release of Daytona USA. Sega US released a small audiobite teaser last week which practically gave the game away, but still hasn’t formally announced it. Before that, it was classified by the ACB. HMV offering PES 2012 for 99p
Bargin hunters, PES 2012 is 99p from HMV (via MCV). But there’s is a twist: the price is available for those who trade in their copy of FIFA 12. The retailer is also offering Forza Motorsport 4 at a low price for £1.99 if a copy of F1 2011 is traded in. On its part, GAME will be offering Forza 4 for £4.99 if either Dark Souls, RAGE, FIFA 12 or F1 2011 on 360 are traded in, while Ace Combat Horizon is 99p if Gears of War 3, FIFA 1, RAGE or Dead Island are swapped.
PES 2012, Forza 4 and Ace Combat all launch in the UK this Friday.

Duke Nukem 3D heading to Android
Duke Nukem 3D is to make the jump to Android devices “very soon,” its been announced. The game, which is a port of the iOS version, is being made for the OS via a collaboration between Tapjoy Inc and MachineWorks NorthWest. When it releases, it’ll be available for all Android devices that are running on Version 2.1 or upwards.

Rocksmith to skip Europe until 2012
Ubisoft has confirmed on Facebook that Rocksmith will not release in Europe until 2012. The game is still down for a release next week, but will miss here until next year due to “music licensing and other external factors.” For those thinking about importing, you may be out of luck. According to GameSpot, the 360 version is region-locked, and the PS3 version won’t be compatible in PAL as won’t post-launch DLC despite it being region-free.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend to come to PS3, 360 in US at Vita launch
Aksys has announced it’ll release PS3 and 360 versions of BlazBlue: Continumm Shift Extend the same day its Vita counterpart does when the handheld launches in the US. When that is stil a mystery other than it’ll be early 2012. Continuum Shift Extend will feature a brand new fighter Relius Clover, as well as all the DLC fighters from the last game.

Tales of the Abyss 3DS coming to US for Valentines Day
Namco Bandai’s US arm has announced (via Joysitq) that the 3DS version of Tales of the Abyss will come to America on Valentines Day, February 14. It comes days after NBG Europe confirmed the 3DS version of the PS2 RPG would release here and in Asian Pacific regions on November 24.
Namco also re-confirmed a 2012 launch for Tales of Graces F on PS3 for both Europe and the US.

Brock Lesnar final superstar confirmed for WWE ’12
THQ’s confirmed that the final superstar to be confirmed for WWE ’12 is none other than the ‘next big thing,’ Brock Lesnar. Lesnar left the WWE in 2004, before going on eventually to UFC. But speaking to IGN, he said that he “probably wouldn’t be where I am today” without the WWE, adding that “the visibility from that company and what they did on a global network for ‘Brock Lesnar’ as a whole, put me on another level.”
