Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 gets post-launch Heroes vs Heralds mode
Capcom’s unveiled free post-launch DLC for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, a card-based mode called Heroes vs Herald. A team of heroes will fight against Galactus and his group, where a new card system will use new combo chains, projectile invincibility and more. There’s a video of it in action from NYCC below the break, via Joystiq.
UMvC3 is out next month for PS3 and 360.

Uncharted 3 director Justin Richmond has said developer Naughty Dog would need to separate the game’s offline portion if it didn’t come with an online pass.

SSFIV AE Ver. 2012 patch launching in December for Japan
Capcom’s confirmed that it’ll launch the Ver. 2012 update for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition in Japan from December 3 in arcades. It’ll then go live on PS3 and 360 versions of the game on December 13. The update will help balance out the fighter.

Time Travelers trailer gets out from Level 5 Vision
Level 5 aired a brand new trailer for Time Travelers over the weekend at the company’s Vision event in Japan, showing the first real glimpse at the game since it was first introduced at the same event last year. It’s out on Vita, 3DS and PSP next year in Japan, with no western localisation plans as yet announced.

Coldplay track pack makes it to Rock Band this week
Harmonix has announced details of the Coldplay pack that’s coming to Rock Band this week. Going for $1.99/160 MS Points/200 Wii Points per song or $9.99/800 MS Points/1000 Wii Points, included in the pack is Yellow from Parachutes, The Scientist and Clocks from A Rush of Blood to the Head, Fix You from X&Y, the title track from its last album Viva La Vida and Every Teardrop is a Waterfall from new album Mylo Xylo. Yellow and Clocks are upgradeable to Pro Guitar/Bass for an extra 99 cents.

Australia – Batman: Arkham City street date broken
EB Games Australia has confirmed rumours of a broken Batman: Arkham City street date via its official Twitter account.
GAME Australia is yet to officially allow sales; a representative confirmed store managers are expecting approval to begin selling the game within the hour.
Since the US gets hold of Arkham City on October 18, with Europe forced to wait until October 21, that makes Australia first to go to retail with Rocksteady’s latest.
The game was slated to release locally tomorrow on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360; a PC version has been delayed.
