DICE: BF3 360 looks “standard-def” without installed texture pack
Battlefield series producer Patrick Bach has told Gamerzines that the 360 version of Battlefield 3 will look “standard-def” without the installation of the game’s texture pack, but insisted it isn’t Frosbite 2 demanding use of the upgrade.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive gets hour-long gameplay footage

Payday: The Heist PC gets October 20 release date
Sony Online Entertainment has finally announced the release date for the PC version of co-op bank robbing sim Payday: the Heist, and it’s, uh, tomorrow – October 20.
The PlayStation 3 version of the game arrived on the US PSN this week, but we still haven’t heard when the European storefront will be graced by it.

PlayStation 3 New Owners Kit due October 25
Gamespot reports Sony America has introduced a new accessories bundle for PlayStation 3 owners, sporting a DualShock 3 controller, USB charger and HDMI cable.
The pack goes for $69 and is already available for preorder at Gamestop and Walmart
A DualShock 3 is $54 and usually comes without the charging cable, so there’s savings to be had.
