Free Realms hits 20 million registered users
SOE has announced Free Realms now has 20 million registered users. Launched on PC and Mac in 2009, the free-to-play MMO has been available through PS3 since last month, and subscriptions are available for those who don’t want to go the F2P route. In celebration of the milestone, SOE is handing out varsity-style letterman jackets to each player from now until October 31.

Sonic Generations 3DS dated for North America and Europe
SEGA has dated the 3Ds version of Sonic Generations, which allows you to play as classic and modern Sonic. The game will land at retail for the handheld on November 22 and November 25 in North America and Europe, respectively.

Modern Warfare 3 video details the Strike Package classes
Activision has released a new behind-the-scenes video for Modern Warfare 3 detailing the game’s Strike Packages, which contain the Assault, Specialist, and Support classes. The video also details the game’s killstreaks, and how to use special perks, and how each Strike Package was designed to reward different play styles and skill levels. Watch it below.
