GTA V trailer countdown appears before next Wednesday
Rockstar’s started counting down towards next week’s debut trailer for Grand Theft Auto V, following yesterday’s left-field unveil. The publisher sent out an email on the reveal this morning, but there was nothing added to yesterday. Get the countdown embedded below the break.
The trailer will appear online next Wednesday at 6pm BST.

New Steel Battalion trailer shows off desert level
Capcom’s released a fresh Japanese trailer for Steel Battalion: Heavy Armour, showing off a desert level for the first time. All that had been shown previously was the landing level at gamescom and Tokyo Game Show. There are glimpses of other levels throughout the video, as well as an explanation of how the controls work in the hybrid controller-Kinect mech title.

Check your Xbox Live dashboard update application status
If you signed up for the Xbox Live dashboard update beta, you can check if you’re on the list by signing into your Windows Live ID and visiting the Microsoft Connect homepage.
The new dashboard has been described as comparable in size to the notorious New Xbox Experience update, and will include features such as Kinect voice and gesture controls, Facebook sharing, and cloud storage for saves and profiles.
