Jurassic Park Xbox 360 release delayed in Europe

Although the PC and PlayStation 3 versions are good to go, the Eruopean launch of Jurassic Park: The Game on Xbox 360 has been pushed back.

Writing on the TellTale forums, marketing director Richard Iggo blamed the company's lack of an office in Europe for the territory-specific delay, because the developer is yet to secure a publishing and distributing partner for the physical release.

Although no specific dates were given, Iggo hinted that Europeans may be waiting until 2012 to see the local release.

"Europe is a big deal to us. So, while we won't be able to get the 360 version to you before the end of the year, we'll do everything that we can to get it to you as soon as possible," he said.

Telltale hopes to see the game release simultaneously on the European and US PlayStation Stores, although beyond "probably November", nothing seems to have been confirmed.

The game is also expected to release episodically for iPad, and will launch worldwide as a downloadable PC game. The Xbox 360 version is the only port to ship on-disc.
