Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City dated for March 20 in US

Capcom has provided a solid date for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which puts players in the shoes of an Umbrella Security Service soldier trying to wipe out implicating evidence of zombies and bio-organic weapons from the Resident Evil series.

Starting March 20 in North America, players will also be out to get rookie Raccoon City police officer, Leon Kennedy, in the third-person, team-based shooter.

Those who pre-order the PS3 or Xbox 360 version through GameStop, Amazon, or Best Buy will receive one additional costume for each of the six playable characters, along with two bonus weapons unique to each retailer.

A Special Edition of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will also be available featuring a copy of the game, a Steelbook with exclusive art, stylized foil sleeve, Umbrella Security Service embroidered patch, Spec Ops Field Unit embroidered patch, and all eight bonus weapons.

The PC version to is follow, and the date is TBA.
