GoldenEye 007: Reloaded launch trailer shows a refined, recharged experience
Activision has released the launch trailer for GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. The game, originally released on Wii and revamped for 360 and PS3, will include separate Mi6 Ops Missions spanning the varied environments from the story. Each will also contain challenges for players to complete suing Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defense objectives. The game also includes four-player split-screen and 16-player online matches with more maps, weapons, characters and game modes than the previous outing. The game lands in stores next week.

Looks awesome can’t wait. Been wanting to get my hands on this since I first saw the positive Wii review scores.

Still surprised that this is coming out so close to MW3.
Just doesn’t make sense…

Like a few people i loved the N64 version, so nostalgia is tugging at the old heart strings big time here… But like GIGA said, its a bit close to MW3

Yep they are definitely shooting themselves in the foot by releasing Call of Duty:Goldeneye so close to MW3…

It really pisses me off how they replace Pierce Brosnan with Daniel Craig. It is no longer Goldeneye.

Not to forget UC3 is launching as well.
Pretty crowded market.

But UC3 isn’t an Activision game.
Both this and MW2 are both similar-ish titles due for release just a few days of each other, from the same publisher.
The only possible explanation that I can think of for this is that 007 was initially due to release earlier, but got delayed, and they’d rather release it now than next year.

@9 Unless it’s Modern Warfare 3, Activision honestly don’t give two flying fucks. Spidey and X-Men pretty much popped onto the shelves with barely a whisper.
People expecting a nostalgic trip down memory lane with this game will be disappointed. This is not the N64 game re-imagined for a new generation. It’s a cheap, lazy cash-in with some vague similarities in some of the level designs, and that’s it.

Ahh Sorry I didnt know that.
I was thinking sales overall.
Is it a good game?

@11 It does the job.
Except for the rare Odd Job hat throw in multiplayer though, don’t expect to relive your childhood through the game.

@11:
No idea yet. Have to wait for the reviews, but what I’ve seen so far looks loads of fun, IMHO.
You can go in guns blazing, or play it stealthy. I haven’t seen anything of the MP yet, but I’ve got a feeling it should be fun…
Even if you can only actually play it split screen, rather than offline, because most of the world doesn’t even know this is coming out.

This will more than likely fall through the cracks of the usual Christmas release schedule insanity. Any FPS released mid BF3 and MW3 needs to be bullet proof (only UC3) as far as I can see.
Watched a presentation on the mo-cap at Gamecity (Nottingham’s annual games festival) this week and although the guys at Eurocom have worked to bring the Goldeneye story into a modern FPS world it looked to be on reduced budget/ expectations – probably wise from a commercial sense but also likely to ensure a degree of apathy from the market too.
There hasn’t been any communication with the Rare outfit so the game really does have to stand on it’s own two feet. I could imagine the aborted XBLA title would have me with some success as it was a direct relation to the N64 classic (moreso than the Perfect Dark release which was faithful but doesn’t seem to raise the pulse of the forums as the old Goldeneye can).

GoldenEye 007 has finally arrived on HD consoles. The story is not really new and the graphics aren’t state of the art, but the multiplayer mode with all the local and online possibilities is really cool.
