Video: 17-minute tutorial for Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3's Phoenix Wright

Phoenix Wright looks to be the very definition of the thinking-man's fighter and so to play him effectively you're going to need to know how to use him. Voila.

A surreal addition to the Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 universe, Phoenix Wright has proven pretty tough to get to grips with. That's why Capcom has released a 17-minute Assist Me trailer outlining the ace attorney's unique fight style.

In short, Wright has three different modes: Investigation, Trial and Turnabout. The latter is Wright's real damage-dealer but to get there it's necessary to collect evidence. Yup, whilst on the battle field and avoiding your opponents attacks you're charged with collecting evidence in order to power-up Wright to the next level before you can unleash some of his more effective attacks.

It's an odd concept, so check out the video - which really gets going at around the 1:30 mark - to better understand the potential of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney.

Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 launches on PS3 and 360 in November and looks set to be a launch title for PS Vita.
