A hair-raising new trailer for Dark Souls shows off a number of good reasons to get the game – or crawl under the bed and blubber like a terrified baby. Your call.

The trailer, variously titled Beasts of Lordran and Enemies, includes very brief looks at a large number of the nastier enemies of Dark Souls. they’re all nasty, obviously, but some of them take it to a whole new level.

Dark Souls is the Meven more sadistic sequel to Demon’s Souls, and is available now on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Very good game. Almost at the end (still a few zones to explore and bosses to kill). The game is challenging, but not that difficult.

Even if it is not a “real” sequel to Demon’s Souls, the overall approach is similar, so players who overcame the difficulty of Demon’s Souls and understood the gameplay mechanics will not have any major problem during the game, especially if you play a magician (just like in Demon’s Souls, if you fully invest in magic from the start, the game becomes REALLY easy).

As said above, I’m almost at the end of the game and the only time I’ve struggled was in front of the Capra demon (small room, and my character wasn’t good at melee with its low defense and stamina).
