Get your Saints Row: The Third character ready with the Initiation Station

THQ has released a trailer not for Saints Row: The Third but for its character creation suite, which will be available ahead of the game's launch next month.

The Initiation Station is apparently coming November 1 to PC, the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, and will be available as a free download.

The system is currently in closed beta, and testers have uploaded a number of character designs to the Saints Row website.

When the tech goes live, players can link their network ID to a THQ account, and download pre-prepared characters to Saints Row: The Third on launch day, saving precious minutes of adjusting sliders.

In the trailer below, scantily clad women discuss why this is a good thing.

Saints Row: The Third is due on the three core platforms in mid-November.
