November 3DS update to add 3D video capture, more

Nintendo has announced a November 4 release for its next 3DS firmware update, which adds a number of new features and improvements.

3D video recording was among the new additions detailed at an event in Munich today, as reported by NintendoWorldReport.

The StreetPass Mii Plaza and eShop will be seeing an overhaul, and while details remain thin on the ground, a new StreetPass game was confirmed.

The 3DS has seen a number of small firmware tweaks since its release earlier this year, but very few major updates; the most significant added in the long-delayed eShop.
