Final BF3 multiplay maps get detailed

DICE has lifted the lid on the final five maps for Battlefield 3's multiplayer following an initial expose on the first five maps last week.

The final maps detailed are Grand Bazaar, the already-shown Caspian Border, Seine Crossing, Noshahr Canals and Kharg Island.

Grand Bazaar is a map in Tehran, where US and Russian forces are fighting for control in the city. Caspian Border is where the Russians have set up shop on the Turkmenistan side, taking over the checkpoint in the process.

Seine Crossing is where the US and Russian forces fight within Paris's 7th district, while US forces strike on Noshahr Canels and a major harbour on the Iranian coast.

Finally, Kharg Island is the biggest oil export terminal from within Iran, where victory for the US will mean the Russians are unable to gain access to the Iranian oil reserves.

The four maps detailed before today were Tehran Highway, Damavand Peak, Operation Metro and Operation Firefight.

Battlefield 3 releases next Tuesday in the US and next Friday in Europe for PS3, 360 and PC.
