Costume Quest coming to PC

The critically acclaimed XBLA and PSN RPG from Tim Schafer's Double Fine will now be arriving on the PC, Double Fine announced today. Double Fine has not yet announced a specific release date yet, and the only information cites "later this year" as the launch window. However, we'd be shocked if this didn't show up in time for Halloween. In fact we're a little surprised it's not already been released.

When its released, the PC version will include the Costume Quest console DLC pack, Grubbins on Ice, completely free. For those unfamiliar with the title, Costume Quest is a Halloween-themed RPG from legendary designer Tim Schafer's studio Double Fine. It stars little kids who complete quests around their neighborhood on Halloween, while donning magic costumes which give them the ability to do battle as real-life versions of that character.

We'll be sure to post a PSA when the game actually releases.
