Ex-Rare vets form Starfire Studios, announce first XBLA title

Ex-senior veterans of Rare have announced the formation of a brand new studio, as well as unveiling its first title for Xbox Live Arcade.

Starfire Studios, comprising of ex-Rare staff Phil Dunne, Mark Edmonds, Ross Bury and Chris Tilston, are bringing Fusion: Genesis, a sci-fi, twin-stick shooter with MMORPG elements to XBLA later this year.

The game will be published by Microsoft Studios.

There'll be up to four-player co-op and competitive multiplayer for up to eight players.

It'll also be able to connect with Fusion: Sentinent, developed by another studio for Windows Mobile 7,
