GMG “hoping” to get EA games back on sale in EU regions “in the near future”

Green Man Gaming has pulled all EA titles its currently selling in the regions its currently in bar the UK, the firm has said, but is aiming to get them back online in partner EU regions “in the near future,” its told VG247

“The GMG team are delighted to be working with Electronic Arts in the UK,” GMG told us in a statement this morning.

“EA have a fantastic selection of titles that that we know our gamers will enjoy. Whilst we are only supplying our UK based customers at the moment we are hoping that we will be in a position offer EA products via on our local language European GMG partner websites in the near future.”

The digital retailer said earlier it would honour all current existing sales, and that it will continue a Battlefield 3 competition and a ten-day promotion, although the latter will only be for the UK.

“We’re currently in talks with EA to see if this can be changed, however I can’t give any kind of guarantees aside from saying as soon as I know something I will let you know too,” said GMG’s community manager in a blog post.

“We’re very sorry about this and, as I say, hope to have it changed in future.”

We’re still waiting back on a response from EA.

What’s next? Fairy Liquid launches new ‘Green’ edition so gamers can wash their hands after playing with a turd like BF3?! lol
