Dead or Alive 5 gameplay looks brutal
An extended version of the debut Dead or Alive 5 trailer has appeared, showing off pre-alpha gameplay footage strongly reminiscent of the brawler we know and love.
Dead or Alive 5 was announced in the build up to the Tokyo Game Show; we’re expecting it next year on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, an unusual departure for the strong Xbox franchise.
You can check out the full thing below, courtesy of GameTrailers.

Wow. It’s looking great. Always liked DoA as an alternative to the more juggle or combo based fighters.

Must say something different and fresh from map design.

Will have to pass on this for Tekken X Streetfighter in this instance.
Sigh…Tecmo always seem to balls up their the quality of their releases ever since Itagaki left and, of course, ever since Ninja Gaiden Black set the standard for 3rd person actioning on the Xbox.
Why, for instance, do they insist on trying to incorporate QTE’s in their upcoming releases – Ninja Gaiden 3 comes to mind in particular for this offence!
