Original Crysis hits EU 360 Games on Demand

The original Crysis has appeared on Games on Demand for Xbox 360 in Europe following a release in the US for 360 and PS3 owners. PSN owners will get it later today, but it’ll set you back £14.99/1600 MS points. The download will come in at a weighty 4.09Gb. Queue it up for your 360 online through here. What?!

It was £14.99 on my Games on Demand, how do you use points to purchase?

I was pissed off because i bought 4000 points in preperation then had to pay another £14.99 on top?

Well, now i have 4000 points to spend, i might buy the Jersey Shore Ab’s for my Avatar… ;)

Haven’t found any yet although i’ve taken the plunge! Won’t be able to upload any impressions for a few days as Dark Souls will be taking up my time!

It looks decent, just imagine the 360 Crysis 2 graphics on this. Looks pretty damn good i think, the control scheme is massively improved too.

@8 Crysis 2 on the 360 and this remake of Crysis 1 are using exactly the same engine, CryEngine 3.

Is there any review for this console version?? Just curious to know, if they can port something like the 1st Crysis perfectly at console (especially in the freedom of gameplay and the huge level to explore plus a much better enemy A.I), why then they just didnt do it before with Crysis 2? We knew that console can do it like PC did!

Now, seriously, is there any more excuse for us to said that crysis 2 gameplay was dumbed down for console after seeing this port? It is console fault or can we call this kind of practice as developer laziness ??

Hoping for Crysis 2 : Warhead to be a vast and huge new york city level that can be freely explore with much more freedom of choice on how to tackle my enemy!

Buy more of this version, console folk! so that it will be sold more than its sequel just to make EA knew that we need more of something like the 1st crysis than the 2nd one (man, it dont deserve to be called a sequel if you have been playing crysis before)!

P.s : Is there any free update for PC version regarding to some update inserted in this Console version ( ala The Witcher 2 2.0) ?? :D
Or sold as DLC maybe??
