Future shooter: Treyarch aims Call of Duty at "new console"

A new job listing suggests Call of Duty is already preparing to make the inevitable jump to upcoming hardware.

Gamespot noted a job ad on the Treyarch's website calling for assistance "bringing our hugely successful game to a new console."

While Treyarch isn't the only studio behind Call of Duty and has a few other products in its catalogue, it seems pretty clear which "hugely successful game" it means.

As for "new console", we're yet to see formal announces for Wii U or Vita versions of the series, but Activision has indicated its support for both new systems and indicated we'll likely see Call of Duty on them.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
