PAYDAY: The Heist delayed to "later in October"

Sony and Overkill Software have announced that PAYDAY: The Heist will be released later on in October than originally planned.

According to official word from Sony, the delay is to ensure "the overall game quality and potential score for all heist team members."

Because of the delay, pre-orders have been extended and those who purchased all PSN titles as part of the Play event need not fret, even with the delay it's still gratis. Just in case the thought crossed your mind or something.

Originally slated to land on PSN tomorrow, October 5, an exact day is still TBD, same for the Steam and D2D version. Also, a demo will be released alongside of the game for those who wish to try before they buy.
