Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops Survival demoed on Paris map

Paris is clearly the place to cause havoc this year. This level was one of two playable at the Eurogamer Expo, it was actually quite a bit better than I was expecting and became rather frantic after Wave 10.

On that first video :32 – :36 does it disturb anyone else how easy it is to DODGE a SHOTGUN BLAST from 2 feet away!!??

To be honest with you, everything in that video disturbs me. It’s like i’m watching Black Ops or even MW2. And i just can’t believe how they keep getting away with it. But hey…people still buy it like candy..so who cares right?

Personally COD is a thing of the past for me. If i try to compare this to BC2 or BF3 (beta) even with all those bugs,BC2 and BF3 just look so much better in terms of how the shooting is, how the guns handle, the realism too i guess. All of that is just ridiculous in COD and feels incredibly cheap.

SHITE looks EXACTLY the same as every other COD, other than the original COD4. No DOUBT people will fall for the television/advertisent HYPE that surrounds each launch (MIDNIGHT LAUNCH IN LONDON ZOMGZOMGON!!!1111penguin!!1111) lolz…

Your effectively paying £$ 50+ for the same game…. but with DIFFERENT MAPS!!! Shit can be done on a PC for FREE via community maps… (which 9 out of 10, better than shipped with game maps) :/

Kudos to the previous CoD games, they at least visually distinguished themselves from each other. They might have been the same basic game under the bonnet, but at least they didn’t look almost identical.

MW3 though, reeks of laziness in almost every regard.

MW3 is getting a lot of shit because its not graphically superior to MW2… End of story. Forget the new spec ops, forget the additions to multiplayer… its not as pretty as BF3 on pc…

@8 New visual design,new recoil,bipod,flashlight,red dot/lesser mechanic,micro destruction,completely new melee system,new vehicles.
I don’t have anything against cod but MW3 is their best of the best asset and it look same as MW2 with very little new thing except new killstreak.
I love how everything Treyarch invented in Cod now they are scraping it and then fratboys praise IW….

Wrong my friend, all wrong.

Clearly nonsense about BC2 and BF3 feeling so alike, it actually feels much more loose and better while still feeling like a BF game, but it feels vastly different from BC2.

Personally i like and dislike prone at the same time. I could do without it. Trust me when i say i used to love COD, it was one of my favorites…i loved COD 2, WAW, MW1. But hated MW2, and BO was fun for a short while. Now i’m just beyond tired of it..you say they keep adding something new to the game since WaW, but it’s very little if you ask me.
And if we’re gonna talk about IQ…you don’t need much of that for COD, lol. I kid i kid, but i feel my critique is valid.
