Jak and Daxter HD Collection listed by South African online retailer

Saturday, 1st October 2011 16:50 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

BT Games, a South African online retailer, has listed an HD collection for Jak and Daxter on PS3. While nothing concrete has been announced by Sony, a source close to the matter hinted to Gematsu back in May that a “dark, dirty, and dangerous” collection was in the works. That hint, just so happens to be the name of a mission in Jak 3, which Naughty Dog released on PS2 in 2004. While BT Games notes the price and date for the collection are TBA, a placeholder date of January 20 is listed. We’ll be sure to send a mail on this. Thanks, Gematsu.

Well, in fairness strikkebil, It’s better them making these than nothing, or a shitty game, and plus these remakes are usually done by quite small teams in quite a short space of time. It’s not as if it’s wasting a lot of sony’s resources that they could be using on other projects.

Personally I love these remakes, but yeah, each to they’re own I suppose.

That is so full of fail. They removed a part of the Ps3 that allowed backwards compatibility in order to cut the price of the PS3. You can hook up your Ps2 to your TV in order to play them these versions are different from those.

If this is real and enough people buy it, maybe we will get a NEW Jak game.

As far as i’m aware, Sony have yet to release a HD remake without some form of sequel already announced or planned. I expect there to be a secret message when you plat The Lost Frontier.
