RAGE gets first co-op video

Bethesda’s taken the wraps off the first gameplay footage from the co-op segment of RAGE, Wasteland Legends – seemingly renamed from Legends of the Wasteland when we seen it in Utah back in April. The video shows the level in Wellspring, where bandits try to destroy its water supply, which is where you and a partner come in. This is the level we seen at the time in April. Get it below the break.

The id shooter’s out on October 7 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.

From Dust launching on PSN next week

Ubisoft’s announced on the EU PS Blog that From Dust will launch on PlayStation Network next Wednesday, September 14. The game, made by Another World creator Eric Chahi, will launch for £11.99/€14.99. The God sim had launched earlier in the year as part of the Summer of Arcade line-up for Xbox 360 near the end of July, as had the PC version, which encountered the wrath of consumers with problems over Ubi’s always-on DRM.

Original Max Payne to go HD for mobile

We missed this in the Max Payne 3 press release. Rockstar’s confirmed it’s to bring Max Payne to mobiles in HD. The Remedy original will come with support for the Rockstar Games Social Club, as well as all the features from the game’s original release a decade ago. No platforms are specifically mentioned, but we’ll chase up Rockstar for more deeds.

Modern Warfare 3 PC to feature LAN support

Infinity Ward’s confirmed that the PC version of Modern Warfare 3 will have LAN support. Studio comms boss Rob Bowling spilled the news in a tweet: “Yes, #MW3 has LAN along with detailed class restriction control + default class creation option.” He also specified how those restrictions played out, adding: “Ability to restrict any weapon, equipment, perk, deathstreak, secondary, attachment, ANYTHING from being used when setting up game,”

FF Type 0′s Japanese boxart is a winner

Amazon.jp‘s posted what Final Fantasy Type-0′s box looks like for when it releases in the country next month. Grainy images emerged of it last week via a NicoNico stream, but the direct-feed version is out. It pretty much looks amazing for just a boxart. There’s an image of it below the break. Game’s out on October 27 for Japan on PSP.

F1 2011 gets championship co-op dev diary

Codemasters has released the third dev diary for F1 2011 ahead of the game’s release in two weeks time. The video shows devs Stephen Hood and Paul Jeal discuss one of the major new features for this year’s game: co-op championship, where you and a friend will compete against one another to be the number one driver in the team, as well as together help the team win the constructors championship. It’s out on September 23 for PS3, 360 and PC. Vita and 3DS versions are also in development.

Chahi’s Another World coming to iOS on September 22

Eric Chahi’s Another World will launch on iOS on September 22, according to AusGamers. The iOS version, which was first confirmed by Chahi at GDC to celebrate the game’s original release on PC 20 years ago this year, will feature original and remastered graphics with the option to switch to one of the two at any one time, two game controls, three game difficulty modes, Game Center support and localisation for France, Italy, Germany and Spain.

The remaster will set you back $4.99.
