Sega’s announced this evening that Sonic Generations will release in the UK on November 4. The date comes part of the publisher’s latest UK release schedule today. The dates are for the PS3 and 360 versions; Sega wouldn’t give VG247 a firm date for the 3DS version other than just November.

Ubisoft’s confirmed that its extended the multiplayer beta of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations on PSN until this coming Saturday. The taster was originally due to close yesterday, but its now been granted an extra couple of days staying power.

THQ’s released a brand new Saints Row: The Third trailer, showing the Decker gang, headed up by Matt Miller. The trailer for the Volition action sequel then takes a sudden U-turn by ripping on Tron. This is too brilliant not to watch, so go do that now below the break.

Saints Row: The Third launches on November 15 in the US and November 18 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.

Square Enix has released the first trailer of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy ahead of TGS this week. The game – a rhythm-based title in the series based on music from past FF installments -is set to make its first public debut at the show later this week. There’s a taste of FFXIII as well if you’re spotting for anything recent.

Sega’s confirmed today that Football Manager 2012 will release from October 21 in the UK. In addition, a demo of the game will launch before the game hits the stores, although no date was announced for that. There’s a blog from Sports Interactive boss Miles Jacobson detailing the changes for this year’s title here.

Someone’s going to get slapped for this. An actual development build of Battlefield 3 has appeared online, with screens and three gameplay videos making their way onto YouTube.

Namco’s opened up a new teaser site for the Tales of series which is counting down towards the beginning of Tokyo Game Show. The site mentions a “New Tales of,” coming soon after Tales of Xillia released in Japan for PS3. It’s also probably a coincidence that series producer just so happened to say to expect news on Tales of for Vita soon. We’ll let you put two and two together here.

Sega is looking at a Wii U and Vita release of Sonic Generations, as well as Yakuza 5 for the latter, according to a TSSZ report. And a new Bayonetta will be unveiled soon
