PSA: LBP2 Move pack hits US PSN, Move peripheral 50% off at GameStop

Zelda: Skyward Sword details, videos and Four Swords dated
A myriad of details from Game Informer’s 10-page spread on The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword have been posted to the net, courtesy of GoNintendo, and it looks like there are plenty of changes coming to the latest entry in the franchise, as well as a few things long-time fans will be pleased to know are staying the same. We’ve pulled a few quotes from the post, and you can read those below the break.
Below, you will also find 11 minutes of video from Nintendo’s pre-TGS conference, featuring Shigeru Miyamoto demonstrating both Skyward Sword and the Four Swords Anniversary Edition, which releases on September 28. Analysts predict 3DS won’t hit Nintendo’s annual sales target this year
According to a report on Bloomberg, analysts expect 3DS sales to hit 16 percent below Nintendo’s projected target of 16 million units this year. The four analysts surveyed predicted the percentage, despite the recent cut in retail cost for the handheld, with Wedbush Securities expecting 10 million units for the low end, and Tokyo-based Macquarie expecting units sales to hit around the 14.5 million mark. Stock in the firm fell this morning by 5 percent following its pre-TGS conference, where it announced Monster Hunter 4 for 3DS, its second circle pad peripheral, and a delay for Kid Icarus. Modders release fixes for Dead Island on Steam
Modders have started releasing fixes and tweaks to Dead Island on PC. The list is rather large, but among some of the fixed listed on the Steam forum are: change field of view, the ability to disable motion blur, weapons blur, bloom, dust, and desaturate, and many other modifications and the ability to vsync which will help screen tearing issues. There’s also a few fun mods available as well. The PC Version of Dead Island, which was released last week, as seen issues with the PC version, most notably, the developers’ code being accidentally released on Steam instead of the retail version. Techland released a patch for the game, but players still reported bugs and problems with the multiplayer servers. Thanks, Kotaku.

Report – EA offering refunds to Tiger Woods 12 PC owners
EA has offered to refund disgruntled customers the purchase price of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters PC, which was released last week. According to posts over on the EA forums (via Reddit), the graphics and overall quality of the game is not on par with console versions, and it contains a premium PC service – Tiger Woods Online -as the sole multiplayer mode. While three months of the service is free, multiplayer on consoles is free for the duration, minus an Xbox Live gold membership, obviously. EA forum members suggest giving a call to EA support via the livechat web page, and ask for a refund. Thanks, Eurogamer.

Report – Android Market reaches 6 billion app downloads
According to a recent report from research firm research2guidance, the Android Market has now hit 6 billion app downloads. Near the end of August, the service was carrying 277,252 apps, of which 35 percent you had to buy. While the most lucrative app categories are weather and business, the fastest growing category was games, which made up for nearly a quarter of all downloads.

Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater trailer shows Snake vs Ocelot
Konami aired a brand new trailer of Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater during the Nintendo 3DS press event earlier this morning. The trailer showed Snake sneaking across the bridge from the start of the game, as well as him taking on a young Ocelot and his group from Spetsnaz. This will be awesome, yessir.
