Super Mario 3D Land – new screens, details
Siliconera’s got a few new screens of Super Mario 3D Land, along with a bunch of freshish details. The game will use 3DS’s tilt functionality to “scout” out levels before play, and Herr Miyamoto apparently reckons Super Mario 3D Land is supposed to be a 2D Mario game that can be played in 3D. M to the ental. It releases in the UK on November 18, two weeks after it releases in Japan on November 3.

Street Fighter x Tekken video features Rolento gameplay, new screens
Capcom has released another gameplay trailer for Street Fighter X Tekken, and it’s posted below. In it, you’ll get to see more footage of Rolento, a former member of the special forces unit, the Red Berets. Rolento first appeared as a boss character in Final Fight, but became a playable character in Street Fighter Alpha 2. The video also shows a bit of Pandora fighting, as well as glimpses of previously revealed characters. SFxT is out next year on PS3, Vita, and Xbox 360. Video courtesy of Gamespot.

Lonesome Road DLC video released for Fallout: New Vegas
Bethesda has released a new video for Lonesome Road, the upcoming DLC for Fallout: New Vegas. The DLC will run you $9.99/800 MSP and will put you in contact with Courier Six, who will ask you to go into the Divide and provide you with a reason why he refused to deliver the package at the start of the game. It will be released on September 20 on Xbox 360, and later on PC and PS3.

God Eater 2 confirmed for PSP
This week’s Famitsu has confirmed God Eater 2 for PSP, according to Andriasang. The action-adventure sequel is to take place three years after events in the original game. You’ll get new male and female main characters; new weapons, such as the Boost Hammer and Charge Spear; and new Aragami creatures.
We don’t know what “Aragami creatures” are, but you might. God Eater released for PSP in Japan in 2010, hitting the west as Gods Eater Burst this year. Expect screens and all the rest of it from TGS this week.

Goldeneye 007: Reloaded gets November 1 US release date, PS3 Move pack
Activision’s announced that Goldeneye 007: Reloaded will release in the US from November 1. Its also announced today that it’ll release a special Double ‘O’ Edition that will feature the PS3 version of the shooter, a Move and navigation controller combo, PlayStation Eye and a SharpsShooter. PS3 owners will also get exclusive multiplayer DLC in the form of character Hugo Drax, who will be playable with his laser pistol in split-screen and online Classic Conflict multiplayer modes.

PixelJunk Lifelike renamed to PixelJunk 4am
Q-Games has announced its renamed PixelJunk Lifelike, dropping the Lifelike subtitle for 4am. Bayion, collaborator on the game, said the reason for the name switch is because it “represents the exact mood and feeling we’ve captured. 4am is that deep night hour. In clubs, the music drifts to a new level entering a deepened state that often seems removed from reality,” adding it’s “something unique that has never been tried before.” Get the new trailer for it below the break, via Joystiq.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon demo drops onto Xbox Live
Namco’s gone live with a demo for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. Exclusive to Gold members right now, the demo weighs in at 405Mb, and sees you play through two missions: one in a jet fighter and another in a helicopter. Queue it to your 360 here. Grasshopper details Codename D, becomes Diabolical Pitch
Grasshopper’s lifted the veil off Kinect title Codename D, confirming the game’s proper name is Diabolical Pitch. The game sees you as a baseball player while you pitch and bat balls against incoming monsters. Joystiq reports that there’ll also be local two-player co-op, with one playing lifting the other for health support. Unveiled at TGS last year, Diabolical will releas as an XBLA title, according to the site. No date yet.

Zone of the Enders HD Collection gets teaser from Sony event
Kojima appeared at the Sony TGS presser this morning to announce the Zone of the Enders HD Collection would arrive on PlayStation Vita alongside its PS3 brother next year. A teaser video also appeared at the event, which all but mainly consisted of the anime scenes from Zone of the Enders 2. This will be legitimately amazing. Seriously.

Sony confirms 3-5 hours play-time for Vita battery
