Luigi’s Mansion 2 gets some new footage

Nintendo’s dropped some direct-feed footage of Luigi’s Mansion 2, the first time we believe the game’s been seen since its unveil at E3 earlier this year. We’re pretty sure this’ll probably drive 3DS sales a bit, considering how demand for a sequel there was before the E3 announce. Get it below the break, via GT. F1 2011 reviews start hitting hard ahead of next week’s release

Deadshot latest villain reveal for Batman: Arkham City

Deadshot the assassin is the latest villain to be unveiled for Batman: Arkham City. The news comes to us via a couple YouTube videos for Game Trailers TV. One shows the reveal along with some new gadgets, and the other gameplay footage. Host Jeff Keighley even tweeted the Deadshot news last night. MGS: Peace Walker HD gets new TGS trailer

Konami’s released a new video of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD, showing Snake sneaking and taking out guards before taking them away via futon recovery. You know, the usual. Peace Walker will get a separate retail release in Japan on November 10, but will release as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection in the west for PS3 and 360. Still no western date for that yet.

Wipeout 2048 trailer details features, more

Sony’s released a new trailer for Wipeout 2048, detailing some of the features within the game and more, including crossplay between Vita and PS3, AR unlocks, Near support, an online campaign and more. Not looking too bad neither, so get watching below.

Portal goes free on Steam until Tuesday – get it now

Valve’s made the original Portal free to get from Steam on PC and Mac, but only from now until Tuesday. If you don’t already have the game, get to it here. You’d be very, very silly if you don’t, although that begs an entirely different question: why don’t you have it in the first place?

Ridge Racer Vita teaser trailer released

Namco’s released a teaser trailer for Rigde Racer Vita, and although it doesn’t contain any gameplay footage, it does just enough to get you all excited if you’re a Ridge Racer fan. The trailer suggests that the new title will lay heavy emphasis on online play as you’re shown connecting with players from all over the world. The game is scheduled to release as part of Vita’s launch line-up of games on December 17. You can watch the teaser after the break.

Final F1 2011 dev diary details safety car, more

Codemasters has released the final developer’s diary for F1 2011, show one of the biggest changes for this year’s game in more detail: the inclusion of the safety car. The Codies Birmingham team also talk about the other changes for this year’s game, including the reintroduction of KERS, the new Drag Reduction System (DRS) and the degrading Pirelli tyres.

Telltale details Back to the Future: Deluxe Edition

We missed these in the avalanche of Tokyo Game Show videos that came our way yesterday. Sony released two brand new trailers of the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, each highlighting both games. In all honesty, is there anyone who isn’t interested in this pack? DMC TGS stage show introduces gamescom demo

Capcom’s shown off the gamescom demo of DMC at Tokyo Game Show. The first part shows Dante and his ghost companion, while the second part shows a lot more of his white-haired side with Devil Trigger activated. This is properly stonking good, with the environments seriously absolutely brilliant. Get watching below the break, via GT.
