Verizon comments on FiOS TV for 360 rumor
Verizon’s director of media relations, Bobbi Henson, has commented on yesterday’s rumor that Microsoft, Comcast and Verizon were ironing out a deal which would see Xbox 360 being turned into a cable box of sorts. While Henson wouldn’t say whether or not the rumor was true, she did say to “stay tuned for the future.”

Gearbox wants your input on Duke Nukem Forever
Gearbox has posted a survey asking participants for their input on Duke Nukem Forever. According to the introduction, “this is your chance,” to tell the developer how you feel about the game. You may participate in the survey whether you have or have not played it. Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford said during a community panel at PAX Prime the firm would start talking about a new Duke game “soon,” but for now the focus is on releasing DLC for Duke Nukem Forever. September UDK beta adds Mac support
Mac support has been added to the September release of Epic’s Unreal Development Kit, which is a precursor to Mac support in the commercial version of Unreal Engine 3. Other improvements have been added as well. You can view the release notes and download the newer version of UDK through the links.

Warner delays Arkham City PC into November
Warner Bros has announced its delayed the PC version of Batman: Arkham City into November. No exact reason for the delay was given, and no new specific date was given other than just November. The PS3 and 360 versions are unaffected, and are still on schedule for October 18 in North America and October 21 in the UK.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition dated for Europe
Bethesda has provided a European release date for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition. The disc includes Knights of the Nine and the Shivering Isles expansion packs and no Horse Armor, apparently. The case includes a map of Cyrodil and the Shivering Isles of Sheogorath, along with a bonus disc featuring a behind-the-scenes documentary on the game’s development. It launches in Europe on September 23 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. GAME has it listed for £17.99 on PC and £19.99 on consoles. It was released in the US earlier this summer. Thanks, Play.tm.

Fallout: New Vegas – Lonesome Road released on 360 and Steam
Fallout: New Vegas’s Lonesome Road DLC has been released for Xbox 360 and Steam. The PS3 versions will hit on September 22. It’s 451Mb and costs 800 MSP.
Here’s the official description: “In Lonesome Road you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of Fallout: New Vegas. Ulysses promises the answer as to why he didn’t take the job, but only if you make one last journey into the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. Report – The Sims Social hits 50 million MAU
According to information from AppData, The Sims Social has hit 50 million MAU (Monthly Active User) on Facebook. The site has the game is now the second biggest on any social site, with only Zynga’s CityVille being the bigger game in terms of MAU with 74.2 million MAU. It suggested recently that Sims Social was seeing 9.3 million DAUs.
